Most electric powered heaters come complete with their own thermostat, so you can fine-tune these to each room. Likewise with radiators, most modern models are fitted with thermostatic radiator valves, or to you and me; the knob on the rad you twist from left to right to make a room go hotter or colder. Figure out which rooms you want change the temperature in and adjust each setting or valve accordingly. If your radiators aren't fitted with thermostatic valves, they can be purchased for as little as £8 each!
